Led by President and Owner Mario Flores, the West Michigan Ironmen organization is built on the belief that a professional football team belongs first and foremost to its community. Our ownership group views itself not just as investors, but as stewards of a local tradition, dedicated to operating the team for the enjoyment and pride of West Michigan. From the front office to the field, our mission is to provide an affordable, high-energy family entertainment experience while fielding a championship-caliber team. We are committed to keeping the spirit of the Ironmen strong, ensuring that when you step into the arena, you feel that this is truly your team.

President/Owner
Mario Flores is a lifelong student of the game and a dedicated pillar of the West Michigan community, bringing decades of passion and leadership to the Ironmen. A Mona Shores High School graduate who went on to play at Grand Rapids Community College, Mario’s transition from player to mentor began on the sidelines at Fruitport High School. There, he spent years moving up the coaching ranks—from an unpaid freshman assistant to a varsity coach—while having the unique privilege of coaching all five of his sons. His journey into ownership was born from a desire to save and sustain professional football in Muskegon, ensuring the region retained a team it could be proud of. Beyond the scoreboard, Mario views the Ironmen as a vehicle for giving back, using the sport to teach resilience and provide a family-friendly atmosphere for the community he calls home.
