It’s been three weeks since the West Michigan Ironmen last played an arena football game and a month since they’ve done so in front of their home fans.
They’re chomping at the bit to put on the pads and put on a show for their home fans.
Today, the Ironmen (2-1) host the Kentuckiana Kurse in a matinee at Mercy Health Arena in downtown Muskegon. Kickoff is slated for 2:05 p.m.

The Ironmen are calling it “Youth Sports Day,” meaning youth wearing any type of sports jersey will be admitted for free. Tickets may be picked up at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center starting at 1 p.m. Discounted tickets also will be available for parents or coaches chaperoning players.
